Our Curriculum

The curriculum at Domfas International Leadership Academy is designed to challenge students academically and to provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a globalized world. The school’s focus on fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of community helps to create an environment that is engaging, inspiring, and supportive.

Domfas provides a spiraling curriculum that focuses on maximizing learning standards and brain development by continuously revisiting and building upon key concepts and skills. This type of curriculum is designed to help students retain and apply information more effectively by connecting new information to what they already know.

Additionally, it allows for a more personalized learning experience, as students can move at their own pace and focus on areas that interest them the most. The school may also offer a range of programs, such as language immersion, to enhance the students’ learning experiences, making it a great choice for our students to get the most out of their education.

Option to Earn a U.S. High School Diploma:

At Domfas International Leadership Academy, our graduates have the option to earn a dual diploma, consisting of a U.S. high school diploma alongside their SSCE/WAEC certificate. This provides them with two recognized degrees that are widely accepted by colleges, universities, and employers globally.

Dual Enrollment and Early College Program:

At Domfas International Leadership Academy, we partner with reputable institutions in the USA to offer our high school students access to a unique dual enrollment program, where they can choose from over 500 accredited college courses from multiple colleges and universities in the USA alongside their regular classes. Our Early College Program allows high academic achievers to begin a rigorous college-ready curriculum as early as ninth grade, which can lead to earning an associate degree upon graduation and jump-starting their future while saving time.

This program provides several benefits and unique opportunities for high school students. It has been shown to positively impact academic achievement in high school, college acceptance rates, and college degree attainment rates. By participating in dual enrollment, students can bolster their college applications and resumes, gain access to a diverse catalog of courses, explore possible majors and areas of study early on, and enter a college program with a better understanding of academic expectations and the overall experience. Additionally, students can earn a head start on college credits, potentially graduating early or making space in their college schedule to pursue multiple interests or majors.
